Heart-leaved Aster is a perennial herbaceous plant with clusters of small, pale blue to lavender flowers. It typically grows to about 30 to 90 cm tall and has heart-shaped leaves, which distinguish it from other asters. The blooming period occurs in late summer to autumn.
