Description
Yellow Rattle is an annual herbaceous plant with yellow, tubular flowers and a distinctive inflated calyx that resembles a rattle. It typically grows to about 30–50 cm in height and is semi-parasitic, attaching to the roots of nearby grasses.
Distribution
It is native to Europe and parts of western Asia, commonly found in meadows, grasslands, and open woods. It has also been introduced to North America.
