Flower Details

Description

A low-growing, evergreen shrub with small white flowers in late spring, followed by bright red berries in autumn and winter. It is often used as groundcover or for stabilizing slopes.

Distribution

Native to central and southern China. Widely planted in UK gardens and landscapes and has naturalised in some areas.
