Flower Details

Description

An evergreen shrub with grey-green, woolly leaves and whorls of bright yellow flowers in late spring and summer. Its drought tolerance makes it popular in Mediterranean-style gardens and pollinator-friendly planting schemes.

Distribution

Native to the eastern Mediterranean. Widely cultivated in UK gardens, especially in the south, but not naturalised.
