Description
A low-growing perennial wildflower with yellow, dandelion-like flower heads that appear from late summer into autumn. It has slender, branched stems and basal rosettes of narrow leaves. Often confused with dandelions, but its flowers are smaller and less robust.
Distribution
Native to Europe and widespread throughout the UK, especially in grasslands, roadside verges, and meadows.
