Description

A hardy perennial with long, strap-like leaves and striking orange trumpet-shaped flowers that open for a single day before wilting. Commonly grown in gardens and occasionally found escaping into the wild.

Distribution

Native to Asia (China, Korea, Japan). Widely cultivated and occasionally naturalised in parts of the UK.
