Description
Canadian Fleabane is an annual herbaceous plant that can grow up to 1.5 metres tall, with slender, hairy stems and narrow, lance-shaped leaves. It produces small, white to pale purple flower heads that are clustered at the top of the plant. The plant is often found in disturbed areas such as roadsides and fields.
Distribution
Native to North America, it has spread to Europe, Asia, and other continents, often thriving in temperate regions.
Medicinal/Other Uses

✅ Traditionally used by Indigenous peoples for a variety of ailments, including as a diuretic and for treating diarrhoea.
Edibility
Caution Advised - leaves and stems have a bitter taste and may cause stomach upset if consumed in large quantities.
