Description
Great Yellowcress is a perennial herb that can grow up to 1.2 metres tall. It has bright yellow flowers clustered in dense racemes and pinnate leaves with a distinctive peppery taste. This plant thrives in wetland areas, often found along riverbanks and in marshes.
Distribution
Native to Europe and parts of Asia, it is commonly found across the UK in wet habitats. It has also been introduced to North America.
