Description
Twinberry Honeysuckle is a deciduous shrub that can grow up to 3 metres tall. It features pairs of tubular yellow flowers surrounded by dark bracts, followed by shiny black berries. The leaves are opposite, ovate, and have a distinctive glossy appearance.
Distribution
This species is native to North America, found from Alaska to California and eastwards to the Rocky Mountains. It typically grows in moist, forested areas and along stream banks.
