Flower Details

Description

Spindle is a deciduous shrub or small tree reaching up to 6 metres in height. It is known for its striking pink and orange fruits and vibrant autumn foliage. The plant has smooth, grey bark and simple, opposite leaves.

Distribution

Native to Europe, it is commonly found in hedgerows, woodlands, and scrublands across the continent. It has also been introduced to parts of North America.
