Description
The Strawberry Tree is an evergreen shrub or small tree that can grow up to 5–10 metres tall. It has dark green, glossy leaves and produces white to pinkish bell-shaped flowers. Its fruit resembles a strawberry, turning from yellow to red as it ripens.
Distribution
Native to the Mediterranean region and Western Europe, it is commonly found in Ireland, Southern Europe, and parts of North Africa. It prefers well-drained soils and can often be seen in coastal areas.
Medicinal/Other Uses
