Description
Leatherleaf Mahonia is an evergreen shrub with spiny, holly-like leaves and clusters of bright yellow flowers that bloom in late winter or early spring. It produces blue-black berries that are often covered with a whitish bloom. The plant can grow up to 3 metres tall and is known for its architectural form.
Distribution
Native to China, Leatherleaf Mahonia is widely cultivated in gardens and landscapes across temperate regions, including parts of North America and Europe.
