Description
Delevay's Tree Peony is a deciduous shrub that can grow up to 2 metres tall. It features large, deeply lobed leaves and striking, cup-shaped flowers that are typically deep red or purple, blooming in late spring to early summer.
Distribution
This species is native to the mountainous regions of southwestern China, particularly in Yunnan province. It thrives in forested areas and on rocky slopes.
