Flower Details

Description

Flowering Rush is a perennial aquatic plant with tall, slender stems and umbrella-like clusters of pink flowers. It typically grows in shallow waters and can reach up to 1.5 metres in height. The flowers bloom from June to August, attracting various pollinators.

Distribution

Native to Eurasia, Flowering Rush is found in wetlands, riverbanks, and lakeshores. It has also been introduced to North America, where it is considered invasive in some regions.
