Description
A fragrant perennial with upright spikes of purple flowers and aromatic leaves smelling of anise or liquorice. Agastache foeniculum is a pollinator magnet, loved by bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. It adds height and scent to herbaceous borders.
Distribution
Native to North America; grown ornamentally in UK gardens but not naturalised.
Medicinal/Other Uses

Used traditionally by Native Americans as a tea for coughs, colds, and fevers. Its essential oils have mild antimicrobial and soothing properties.
