Description
Gazania rigens is a striking perennial, often grown as an annual, with vividly coloured daisy-like flowers in shades of orange, yellow, red, or pink, each with dark central markings. Native to South Africa, it’s valued for its drought tolerance and ability to thrive in poor soils. It can naturalise in warm climates but is mostly cultivated.
