Description
A bright yellow-flowered perennial of damp meadows and ditches, forming clusters of daisy-like blooms. Historically believed to repel fleas (hence the name).
Distribution
Native to much of Europe, including the UK; found in wet meadows, marshes, and riverbanks.
Medicinal/Other Uses

Traditionally used for digestive complaints and as an insect repellent.
Edibility
Not generally considered edible.
Human Toxicity

Can cause stomach upset if consumed in large quantities. Not used in modern medicine.

Mild concern – essential oils may irritate or upset digestion in pets.
