Description
A tall perennial producing dramatic spires of blue, purple, pink, or white flowers in summer. It is a staple of cottage gardens and adds vertical interest to borders.
Distribution
Native to mountainous regions of Europe and Asia. Widely cultivated in the UK but does not usually naturalise.
